Dick Barton - Special Agent began life as a thrilling radio serial, broadcast by the BBC in the late forties and early fifties. Three films and a TV series came along later and inspired the Dick Barton T-Shirt. The serial followed the adventures of ex-Commando Captain Richard Barton MC who, with his mates Jock Anderson and Snowy White, solved all sorts of crimes, escaped from dangerous situations, and saved the nation from disaster time and again.
