The Hetty Wainthropp Mug is inspired by the classic TV crime series starring Patricia Routledge as the titular Hetty Wainthropp, a retired working class woman from the North of England who uses her unique skills for solving mysteries.

Hetty Wainthropp Investigates ran for 4 successful seasons in the late 1990's and was much loved by fans of a gentler crime drama.
